Ice Cream - PTfit Daily
Summer is in full force and we all love a big bowl of ice cream to help cool us off. Instead of hitting up the high fat and sugar containing ice cream from a local store, create your own!
Let's start with why you should try this -
1. You save a ton of calories while having a higher volume of ice cream.
2. You gain more protein for your daily needs.
3. It is cheaper.
The recipe? Simple it is!
To start -
Use a bowl that you typically use for cereal
Add 1 or 2 single serving cups of Carbmaster Yogurt (from Kroger)
I prefer 2 to 3...
Now that you have your base, you can add in some extras. Here is what I prefer -
Peanut butter (1 Serving)
1 Banana
10-15 grapes
Protein powder if I have a hefty training session in my near future
Granola (MAYBE) This again depends if I will have a heavy training session in the near future
Lastly -
Mix all ingredients together and place in the freezer for about 15 minutes and then enjoy.
