An Intro by Patrick Thompson
With every success story, there may be an unfortunate dark side that people often hear about. However, there really never is a stated negative moment that Chris brings to the surface. That is why Chris has continued to accelerate in his health and fitness.
When I first met Chris, I saw a man who wanted a solution for his overall health and well-being. Not only did he want a solution, he knew he needed to find a solution to improve his health, his family needed a solution for his health. Even though it was going to be a long road of aches, pains, and early mornings, Chris was up for the challenge; as was I.
I recall a story that Chris told me about him falling asleep while driving, that was when I REALLY knew he was in need of my help. After hearing the story of a pretty scary moment for him, I told myself that I would do what I can to help him. As a family man, I could relate to his care that he had for his wife and children. When Chris kept on showing his efforts in and out of the gym, I knew I had to step my game up as a trainer to provide him with monthly progressing yet challenging programming for his fitness goals.
There was once an instance that Chris said, "Oh, well go another month and see what happens, I'll be good...".
Chris, well my friend, I think we are far past that month.
Not only has Chris made a change to help benefit his own health of his personal and family health, he is becoming an impactful leader in the gym at Anytime Fitness Peoria. I speak for many people of the gym when I say it is a pleasure each morning to see you come in a little groggily from waking up. Cause we all know that once you wake up, you are on fire the rest of the morning.
Chris, seriously, thank you for making an impact in the Anytime Fitness Peoria community each day. You may be a 'fan' or supporter of Never Been Stronger, but you are a prime example of what Never Been Stronger is all about. Congratulations on all you have done. You are a great man.

"2017....it's coming to a close. I want to wish all my friends and family and happy, healthy and prosperous 2018! Now, I have to get a little sappy. Time to reflect. What a year it's been! Huge changes for me, both personally and professionally. For work, I decided to switch gears and open up offices in Central Illinois for the #1 Mortgage lender by market share in Illinois. With offices in Peoria, Bloomington (coming soon!), Champaign and Springfield (opening soon). Hired some great staff and loan officers and expect huge things in 2018 for our growing group of awesome mortgage professionals! Personally, I decided to get off my butt and get in shape and take care of my health. Lost about 76 lbs, so I decided to have surgery on Tuesday. I had about 8 lbs of excess skin removed from my lower abdomen. It wasn't going away, no matter how hard I worked out and ate right So, in some pain now as my family and I usher in 2018. It's all so worth it! I will absolutely own 2018! I couldn't have done any of this without the support of my number one fan and best friend, DeAngela Herington Broadhurst! I love her more than she will ever know. Special shout outs to my awesome Guaranteed Rate family... Michael Reinert, CJ Isbell, Francesca Hunter, and Kevin Podner. And my personal goals to get my ass in shape would not have come so far without my personal trainer extraordinaire, Patrick Thompson, and Anytime Fitness with Doug Pinter and Shelby LeBoeuf! I appreciate you guys more than I can ever show. I can't wait to absolutely crush 2018 in every aspect! #experiencetheGRdifference PT x PT Never Been Stronger #GuaranteedRate #bringon2018..."

"No excuses. No easy fixes. 1 year ago today, I felt horrible. Tired, out of shape, unhealthy....I decided to take my life back. A huge shout out at Anytime Fitness Peoria and my trainer extraordinaire, Patrick Thompson for helping me on my journey. Patrick and Shelby LeBoeuf inspire me daily and make coming to the gym more like hanging out with family! Doug Pinter should be proud to have trainers who are such great people as well as being knowledgeable and helpful. I still have a long way to go, but it's all about the journey! Here is to crushing it in 2018! #prchain PT x PT Never Been Stronger #nomorefatpants"..."
"My journey to be a better me, a better husband, a better dad, and a better person starts fresh every day. Day by day. One step at a time. It's not a cliché. It's reality. I fight obesity, laziness and apathy every day. It all started with this guy, Patrick Thompson. He is the real deal and changed my life for the better. I can't recommend him, Shelby LeBoeuf and Doug Pinter and his crew at Anytime Fitness Peoria enough. And I have the most supportive wife, DeAngela Herington ...Broadhurst. Her encouragement keeps me going when I don't feel any motivation. If you are ready to make a change, go on and see Matt McVey at AFNP. He will hook you up! They have a super special going on for about another week. Tell him I sent you! Oh, yeah, that's the PR Chain! I wear it proudly. The card is just something fun that they do at the gym...it's bingo!
